We went up to the Bountiful Temple to take some pictures of Spencer in his new baptism suit so we could make some invitations for his baptism. Here are some of our faves:
Spencer was baptized on September 29, 2012. It was a special day for our family. I was blinking back tears all day as I reflected on how much Spencer has grown up over the last 8 years. Nate did a great job baptizing and confirming Spencer a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
After the baptism, we all headed back to our house to celebrate and PaRty! I was too busy hosting to take pics during the event but we had a buffet of Spencer's favorite foods. Spencer is a FOODIE! He loves food and he loves trying new foods. He is well rounded when it comes to eating. When I asked Spencer what he wanted to serve at his party, he said, "Macaroni & Cheese, Snickers, nachos, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and sandwiches." I knew that was a good start to a menu, but I tweaked the menu a little. We had homemade mac & cheese, a "make your own sandwich" station, Snickers salad, veggies and dip, mini raspberry cheese cakes, Reeses Peanut Butter Cup cookies, and last but not least, a "nacho station!"

It was a wonderful day. Spencer loved all the attention and was showered with gifts from all of his close family and friends. We hope he will always remember his big day and the special promises he made to Heavenly Father that day.
