Our Little Princess is 3!

Lauryn had been talking about her birthday for FIVE months before it actually got here. It was a LONG awaited day.

She asked for pancakes with berries and orange juice for breakfast.  She was having a "Nemo" birthday so Daddy made her Nemo shaped pancakes with berry eyes!
Next up, she opened a few gifts.  We got her a new sandbox and some sand toys.
Preston made Lauryn an adorable Nemo card (he loves to make cards for people).
He showed it to her and then read her what it said.
Here is the front of the card.
After breakfast, Lauryn and I went out on a Mommy-Daughter date.  We were ready to spend some quality time together.  I took Lauryn to Build-A-Bear and she chose a pretty white kitty, Fluffy, to be her new friend.

She helped stuff Fluffy, and put in her heart.  Then they sewed her up and Lauryn gave her a bath and fluffed her up.
 She was in love!

Then Lauryn picked out an adorable little outfit for Fluffy, and no sooner did we leave the store, that Lauryn immediately took off the outfit because she wants Fluffy in the natural state that God intended for her to be (there goes 25 bucks...)
After Build-A-Bear, we headed to do some more shopping and then back home to get ready for her Nemo family party.

Lauryn's requested "A Nemo cake with a rainbow inside."

Lauryn is such an adorable fireball.  She enjoys pushing our buttons, so it's a good thing she is so cute to make up for the hard times.  She is so smart and wants nothing more than to hang out with her big brothers and do everything they do.  She does not like being alone and will use every excuse in the book to get mommy or daddy to snuggle with her at night.  Some of our favorite things she says are:
"Up-a-side-down" (same meaning as upside-down)
(pointing her finger and saying) "Juuuust one more fing."
Talking about our day at dinner time, "Welllll...I played with Sister Paul." (Her nursery teacher.  She says this everyday.)
Posipole (popsicle)
Her response if you ask her to do something, "Sure. I, I, I, would love to!"
And her constant singing (she loves to sing)

And we love her countless hugs (with a back pat) and kisses.

Happy Birthday Lauryn!!!
