Since Camden was sick, we have been very cautious taking him out. We really weren't ready to take him to church but we didn't want to wait any longer to bless him so we decided to bless him at home.
We didn't want him to be around too many people so we only invited his Grand-parents.
Before the blessing, we asked my Dad to give an opening prayer. Then Spencer, Preston and Lauryn sang, Families Can Be Together Forever. They had been practicing and practicing and they did a wonderful job. Then Nate gave Camden a beautiful blessing.
Camden's middle name is Snow, after my Grandma Dangerfield. Her maiden name was Snow and she is and was an amazing woman. She was really the only grandparent I've ever had and she lived a very dedicated life. She didn't have an easy life but she was the most religious, obedient, patient, sweet, person I've ever known and she was a wonderful Grandma to me. I hope Camden can live up to his namesake and I hope that my Grandma will always watch over him.
And to conclude our little meeting, Nate's Dad offered a closing prayer. Zack Winzeler and Justin Strunk came to represent the Bishopric.
After the meeting we had a yummy lunch: chicken salad on croissants, strawberry spinach salad, fruits and veggies and dip, mini cheesecakes and Chocolate Texas sheet cake.
Here is our sweet boy. I made him a new tie to go with the outfit Spencer and Preston were both blessed in also (with his afghan made by Grandma Martin)
Our first official family photo
LOVE this picture. Camden with his big brothers, Dad, Grandpa and two Great-Grandpas. Four Generations of great men.
Sweet sisterly love.
What a bunch of great looking kids!
Brotherly love.
It was wonderful day for our family and we are so grateful to have this sweet spirit in our home.

I just finished reading all of your posts. Way to catch up! I cried when I read about Camden going back to the hospital. I CANNOT fathom the helplessness and anxiety of that event. I also cried when I read about your stroller disaster in Gilbert. I remember you telling me that story, but it still sucked to read about it. I love all the fun activities and traditions you guys do with your kids. Nate and your chillins are blessed to have you!
Great family...love the pictures
I think I have finally caught up! Let's not go that long ever again!!!!
Love your fam!
