A Merry Christmas

First off, I got a new camera for Christmas and I had fun playing around with it...

Here is a picture I snapped shortly after Santa had come.
 A Magical Christmas Morning...
The kids were up bright and early which is good since I barely slept myself.  I am always too excited Christmas morning to sleep.  Not because I have so many great gifts I'm excited to open for myself, but because I can't wait for my kids to open their presents after months of anticipation and excitement.  It's too much fun.
Lauryn asked Santa to bring her a Dream Lite.
 Oh the anticipation...
Spencer and Preston both asked Santa for a tablet and they were pretty excited to find Kindle Fires waiting for them under the Christmas tree.

You can see Preston's storage trunk in the back ground.  We got each of the kids a special trunk that locks that they can store their very special things in and their siblings can't get into it or take anything. And the trunks will hopefully be sturdy enough that the boys can store special things in them while they're on their missions and then take their trunks with them when they leave home.

Preston's favorite gifts were his Kindle, his trunk, The Amazing Spiderman movie, and a REAL set of watercolor paints.
Spencer got the Avengers movie! His other favorites included his Kindle, his trunk and his bow and arrow.

Lauryn's favorite gifts were her shopping cart, her Dream Lite, and Blue and Magenta from Blue's Clues.

Nate and I scored some great gifts too.  I got a new camera, and Nate got an exercise bike.

After we opened gifts, Papa and Grandma Martin came over for breakfast which included breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls, fruit, sausage and juice. Then we played with our toys for a while and headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Monson's.  While we were there we opened more gifts and had a great dinner.  And the highlight of the visit was helping Aunt Andrea announce that she was pregnant!  Very, very exciting!  Our babies will be due a week apart.  We have known about Andrea's little secret for a while and it has been so hard keeping it under wraps.  It was a great day!
