Spencer made quite an impressive pinewood derby car! He had a blast making it. It was a family effort in the end. Nate helped him carve out the shape he wanted and helped him assemble everything. I helped with the extensive paint job that Spencer wanted. And voila! A coral snake derby car!
It wasn't very fast, but it was impressive.
Spencer had a great time with all his Scout friends.
Nate was in charge of keeping track of all the times and winners.
Spencer won "Most Creative" and he was thrilled.
Nate also took the time to help Preston and Lauryn make derby cars too and they thought it was the best thing ever.
Here's to plenty more Pinewood Derbies in the future;)
