Ensign Peak

In celebration of Nate's first NON SCHOOL weekend, we went hiking as a family!

We thought Ensign peak sounded like a good idea since Pioneer day is right around the corner.

 And we were off!

A short distance, but a steep incline for little legs...

 We made it to the beautiful view!  The kids loved it.

 An amazing valley to look out upon, thanks to Brigham Young and the blood and sweat of many other pioneer heroes.

 The next day at church , Spencer wrote Nate a letter telling him thank you for the hike with a full illustration. It was so sweet and Nate was touched.

Have I mentioned we are glad Nate is done with school!!!!!!!!!
