4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July.  We started off by going to West Bountiful's fireworks on the 3rd.  It was a short and sweet show and Lauryn and Spencer loved it.  Preston of course played with Grandma Martin at her house because he is terrified of fireworks.

Then on the morning of the 4th, we headed off to the Centerville parade.  We didn't have much shade and it was hot so we positioned our chairs strategically and draped a blanket over the chairs to give the kids some shade to sit in.

This picture isn't very good but the kids looked so cute through the glaring sun.

My favorite- The Bagpipers!

lots and lots of candy!

Lauryn got some bubbles and she attempted to blow them all by herself...

She was at it for quite a while...

After the parade, we went to a family reunion for my Great-Grandfather and all his descendants.
The boys loved playing on the slippin' slide.
And there was ice-blocking

 Spencer giving it a go
Preston trying to figure out how this was going to work...

 Lauryn loved it!
We topped off the day with a swim in the pool.  Happy Birthday America!
