GRADUATION DAY!!!

Nate's graduation was held on Friday August 10, 2012.  We had all been looking forward to celebrating Nate being done with school so we didn't hesitate to check the kids out of school for the day so we could all head down to Provo together.

The Marriott Center at BYU

Grandpa tried his best to keep Lauryn occupied during the ceremony;).

I didn't get a picture of Nate walking across the stage because I was recording it with the video camera.  But I was so proud to hear the announcer read, "Dr. Nathan Monson":).  I joked with Nate before the ceremony about how at his graduation for his Bachelor's degree, he told the announcer to say "Dr. Nathan Monson" but the announcer didn't fall for it.  But this time, SUCCESS!

The traditional cap toss (which ended with Nate accidentally getting bonked on the head with someone's phone:)

 We made it!!!

We are so proud of Nate!  The Executive MBA program at BYU is not an easy program to get accepted into.  Nate had a great GPA from college when he got his undergrad degree and he scored an amazing GMAT score.  There were over 200 people who applied to the program in the Spring of 2010 and only 63 were accepted, Nate being one of them.  He was one of the youngest people in his MBA class.  Just being accepted was a great accomplishment and not only did he finish the trying program, but he finished with honors.  We are really, really proud of him and we are really, really glad it's over!

Congratulations Nate!!!

Todd has been thinking of wanting to go back to school so hopefully one day. We were thinking the other day that we need to invite you and your family over for dinner soon. We haven't seen you guys in so long!
