(Jacob is his best friend)
If he's already threatening to run away...and he's only 6...is that a bad sign?
The last couple of days we have been trying a different approach to disciplining Spencer. We are trying to give him more opportunities to be "in charge" and make his own decisions without taking advantage and being bossy. He has been doing a lot better. We have not had to send him to time-out for the past 2 days!! So hopefully things will continue to improve. I think Spencer's children will LOVE to read these tidbits about their dad someday:)...

uh oh...no I'm thinking run away notes this young is not such a great thing!! :) However, maybe being found will make him realize how good he really has it at home!?! What a great note to have and keep!
This is so over-the-top funny! Yes, this is good blackmail for later. Those kids of his will get such a kick out of it. I do feel a little bit sorry for the little guy though. So, is it safe to say you are raising a mini Nate? I know that I am raising a mini me, for sure. :) So much fun! You should be proud at his skills at expressing himself at such a young age and his spelling, grammar, and sentence structure, which are quite superb!
Hehehehe... I know that being the parent in these kind of situations is so frustrating, but he is just so stinkin' smart!!!! That kid could use a good dose of not being the brightest blub on the Christmas tree!
Good luck. I will be looking towards your example in about a year or so when my bossy, little eye roller threatens something similar. ;)
