My little speller...

The other day I was feeding Lauryn and Preston was in his room coloring and drawing. He was asking me how to spell certain words and this is how the conversation went:

Preston: "Mom, how do you spell 'how'?
Me: "h-o-w."
Preston: "Ok. How do you spell 'oh'?"
Me:"o-h."
Preston: "How do you spell 'wing'?"
Me: "wing?"
Preston: "Yeah... wing."
Me: "w-i-n-g."
Preston: "There!"

A few seconds later, he brings me his picture and he had written, "Happy 'how-oh-wing!" (Halloween). And I laughed and I laughed....
