Lauryn's 2 Month Update

Lauryn turned 2 months old last week and she had her two month check up. Here are her stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 10 oz (50th percentile)
Height: 24 inches (95th percentile)
Head Circumference: 14 inches (25th percentile)

So yes... my baby is not staying little at all! But she's very healthy and that's what is important!

I couldn't believe she is so tall already (actually I can because she doesn't fit into any of her 0-3 month clothes anymore). But her doctor was asking how tall Lauryn's dad is so I told her he is 6'. Then she said the way they estimate how tall girls will be is by subtracting 5 inches off the dads height. And for boys, they add five inches to the mom's height. I thought that was interesting. Boys usually follow their mom's height, and girls follow their dad's. That would explain why our boys are short and Lauryn is tall. So we will have to see if she ends up 5'7". And that would make our boys coming in at 5'9". I guess the future will tell...

I love that little tidbit about height and how they determine it. How cool is that. Oh, no... that means Kate will be six feet tall! UGH! I'm so glad Lauryn is growing but I know what you mean, if only these babes could grow just a little slower and still grow up in the end. Enjoy!

Lots of great updates, glad that blessing and party went well! We wish we could have been there. I love all the pictures. This is random, but Beth, you remind me of Megan Fox in that picture with Brenda. I'm seeing a resemblance....hmmmmm....any long lost sisters you never knew you had....? :)

What a healthy girl. That is always good news. I never heard the height theory before. That means my girls with be 5'7" as well.

We still need to come visit you guys and see cute little Lauryn and your new finished basement. I heard it was amazing.
