- Nate decided to have his ankle checked out by a doctor and long story short, he needs major ankle surgery. Stay posted for that fun event in the coming weeks...
- Spencer did not make the drawing for the charter school, so public school it is. It's all good, we weren't that set on the charter school anyway. We just figured we'd give it a shot. Speaking of shots, Spencer needs his last 3 immunizations before he starts Kindergarten. It's so hard now that he is old enough to KNOW why we are at the doctor. Any volunteers to take him??? It's harder on me than my kids.
- Preston is officially enrolled in Preschool for the Fall! He's very excited.
- Baby sister is doing great. She is measuring right on for how far along I am. And surprisingly enough... my blood pressure is still good (I am trying my hardest not to be a nervous wreck). We have another ultrasound with the specialists in a few weeks. She is a busy girl in there and feeling her move all the time definitely calms me down and puts a huge smile on my face:).
- Nate was officially accepted to BYU's Executive MBA Program and will start this Summer. I would congratulate him but he never reads our blog so what's the point?
- Both boys start soccer next week and Nate is Spencer's coach (don't ask how coaching a soccer team is going to fit in with major surgery. We haven't gotten that far yet). Preston LOVES his uniform and he looks SO cute in his tiny cleats (pics to come).
- I planted some of our early crops in our vegetable garden this week while the weather has been so nice. Can't wait for fresh veggies!!
- And I have been spending a lot of my spare time making pink things. I made this quilt for the baby and I thought it turned out pretty cute.
And these are some cloth diaper birpcloths I have been attempting to make. They are pretty cute but really more practical than cute.
- And last but not least, BYU won their first game today in the NCAA tournament so they advance to the next round. I don't know what we would have done if they had lost. Whew.... (sense the sarcasm).
So I think that's pretty much it for us. And for those interested, Baby Animal Day is just around the corner so I figured I'd remind all of you who saw my post last year and are interested in going. It's going to be April 8th-10th in Wellsville at the American West Heritage Center. Go to www.awhc.org for more info. Yay Spring!!!

Hi Beth,
We'd be honored to take Spence for his shots!
Love
Craig and Sandy
Okay sounds good. I'll make the appointment:).
Sounds like good things are happening. I'm sorry to hear that Nate needs surgery, but glad that it will hopefully solve the problem. That's so cute that he's Spencer's coach..awww. I'm really looking forward to seeing some soccer action shots.
The burb cloths and quilts look darling! Nice job, I am impressed!
Um, I am a little late, but congrats on the baby! And the stuff you have made is so cute!
So glad to hear that things are going well with the baby girl!! Pregnancy after a loss is so scary! And I LOVE that blanket you made!!! But in posting you have opened up a BIG can of worms! lol If I can't get the bedding I ordered online on time will you help me make some bedding??? LOL I don't sew great, and you are awesome! And tell Nate we said good luck on his surgery! (and coaching at the same time) haha
I think your quilt looks soooo cute! That soft pink material on the back side is my fav... so soft! I love the burp clothes too. I've never had any made out of the diapers, but I think they are way more absorbant.
Welcome to the pink world Beth... it's an expensive ride!
