May the Luck of the Irish be with ya....

Today is St. Patrick's day and I really have no idea what St. Patricks Day is for. All I know, is that you are supposed to wear green and it has something to do with Leprechauns and Ireland...

Anyway, when I was a kid, my Mom always made GREEN pancakes for us for breakfast on St. Patricks day and I have since passed the tradition down to my boys. Nothing makes pancakes MORE fun than making them different colors (I make pink heart pancakes on Valentines day, and orange pumpkin pancakes on Halloween).

I also made green orange juice (isn't that an oxymoron?). It was a fun way to start the day and my boys loved it.

MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm green pancakes!!!

Happy St. Pattys!!!

What LUCKY boys to have you for their mom. My kids didn't want anything green so we just had normal colored food all day.

You are such a superstar mom! I just put my kids in green so they wouldn't get pinched, but I'm sure that counts too.

You are so cute AND smart! I tried doing green eggs & ham- note to self: BAD idea- they looked way too gross to eat. Pancakes are they way to go!

Fun mom. I didn't even think about St. Patty's. I had to put green stickers on my boys so they wouldn't get pinched at preschool. I am a dud and you are awesome!

I love the green-orange juice. It makes it look even healthier.
