SO..... the day finally arrives AND...... Nate wakes up with the Flu!!! He really tried to put on a good face and I know he was very excited and surprised when he opened his gift, but I can't imagine how much MORE excited he would have been if he was feeling well. I was tempted to wait and give it to him in a few days, but the boys were so excited to give him his present.

Yes Nate did actually get to play his Wii today, you wouldn't know it from the pictures. The boys loved it as much as Nate.
It was just the four of us at Nate's big Birthday Celebration because we didn't want to get our family and friends sick.
Nate was not even up to blowing out his candles, so the boys did it for him.
Overall it was still a pretty fun day. Nate was very appreciative of his awesome gift. And even though he didn't get to enjoy the Wii as much as he would have liked to today, it will bring hours of fun and laughter in the years to come.

Mmmm... that cake looks really yummy! I just got Wii fit a couple weeks ago and I haven't even busted it out yet. Tell Nate I'll bring it over so he can show the yoga game who's boss.

I want a Wii!! You are a nice wife to get him that. Last night was fun! LOVE hanging out with you. We WILL get together with are kids in the next few weeks!
