I think this year our food selections were top notch. We had a hashbrown/egg/sausage/cheese casserole, homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, fresh berries and fruit, blueberry strudels, and REAL orange juice.
I also went to the church's website and printed off some great activities for my boys to do during Conference to keep them quiet and listening (I will do that every Conference from now on and I highly recommend it:).
My mom used to make a big Conference morning breakfast for us growing up. And now my boys love our tradition and it's one of my favorites as a mom. I know they all look forward to it (especially Nate) and I hope our Conference weekends together as a family will be a highlight in my kid's memories when they look back on their childhoods.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Conference!

What a fabulous idea. Will you be my mom? That spread looks delish. I love good traditions. Printing off the activities for conference really helps. And you have such studious little fellers that they probably soaked it all up. Love conference!
Where do you come up with all these amazing ideas?!! I always feel I come to your blog for an education on mothering. ;)
That sounds like a great idea. What a great way to celebrate conference.
Way to go, Mom!
What a terrific idea!
