Spencer and Preston love hanging out with their cousins now that they live in Utah again. Here are the boys in their "fort."
Searching for candy in the woods during the treasure hunt.
They all played wonderfully together the WHOLE weekend! There was not one fight or disagreement among cousins (other than sibling altercations:). They just had a great time together.
Emma, Spencer, Matthew, Alyssa, and Preston.
Playing in the meadow...
We took Sasha and Emma and Preston sat and watched Sasha while they enjoyed their popcorn Aunt Lisa made over the fire.
Lauryn having some licorice!
We took Lauryn's little pink chair and she hauled that thing ALL over creation.
She just couldn't get it in the perfect spot...
Still not it...
And she finally gave up and relented to a rare and treasured snuggle...which then led to a nap with Daddy.
Her first smore!
On Saturday we drove down the road to Pineview to cool off and let the kids play on the beach. Preston made some really cool sand castles...
Spencer would wade out until the water was to his chest and then he would practice swimming back to shore. He did that pretty much the whole time we were there...my little fish...
And Lauryn did not feel good and she did not enjoy being at the beach whatsoever...
Spencer was SO exhausted from swimming all day that he could barely keep his eyes open to roast a marshmallow at the end of the day.
We had a great time even though Lauryn was not feeling well. She still did good considering she had a fever the whole weekend (mental note-don't take a baby camping the week after their 12 month shots. That MMR is rough!). But now that we have tested her tolerance for sleeping in a tent, I think she will love camping as much as her brothers. And we might be brave enough to venture out again this Summer.

I am beyond impressed that you took your one year old camping in a tent... kudos.
P.S.- Those Lauryn snuggling pics are PRICELESS! They make a hug from Nate look magical. ;)
Fun. I'm glad the cousins are getting along so well. Good memories for all.
