My "attempt" at getting a shot of Lauryn sitting by her big brothers:).

After we finished with the fountains, we headed off to explore more of Liberty Park. I hadn't been to Liberty Park since I was little and it really is a nice park with a lot to do.
Once we saw the Ferris wheel...we knew we had to go for a ride! So our nice new friend stayed by Lauryn and the stroller so that I could ride with the boys. We had SO much fun! It was one of those moments as a mom that I will always remember. The boys giggled the whole ride and it was pretty cool to see Salt Lake City and the mountains from up high. (Anyone having a "Charly" flashback?:)

After a Ferris wheel ride....you have to get cotton candy and a snow cone!

Lauryn loved the snow cone, but she wasn't sure about the cotton candy. She is constantly trying to eat tissues and wipes at home and I am always digging them back out of her mouth and telling her, "That's yuck!"...and yet here I am shoving "cotton" into her mouth and saying, "Mmmmm...."... Now what is she supposed to think??

Once we finished our long afternoon at the park...It was nap-time!

It was a really fun day. It was the epitome of Summer as a kid...being at the park, playing in the water, having a picnic, riding a Ferris wheel, and eating a snow cone and cotton candy. I think we packed a whole Summer into one fun afternoon!

We discovered that water spot a few years ago and loved it. Although my Matt still holds his sterotyped ideas of Liberty Park, I agree with you in that it IS a nice place now with some fun family spots hidden away! Looks like you guys did have a great time. A perfect Summer day.
Lauryn looks like she had a great time!

Awww, wish I could have been there. I think that is so funny what you said about feeding Lauryn "cotton" when she likes to snack on tissues and wipes. I think she's getting mixed signals.
So lovely. That really is a full day. Good one.
