Our baby is 1!

Yesterday was Lauryn's first birthday! She started off the day with pink pancakes served with strawberry jam and whipped cream. And she LOVED them!

Here she is all ready for her party to start!

Here is some of the spread.

Happy Happy Birthday!

She loved her cupcakes! So much that she had two.

However I think she liked the homemade ice cream even more than the cake:).

She got some way cute gifts from lots of people who love her. This was her big gift from us. Preston pushed her around and around all night. We could barely pry her little hands off the steering wheel to get her out.

Saying goodbye to Grandma Martin after the party.

Lauryn loved every minute of her birthday. We sang to her at least a dozen times throughout the day and she smiled from ear to ear every time. She refused to go to bed after the party because I think she wanted to take advantage of every moment right up until the clock struck midnight:). And she came pretty close...

To say the last year has gone by quickly would be a huge understatement! I cannot believe that she has been with us for a whole year already. And I still can't believe I have a little girl. I couldn't have squeezed more pink and frills into the party if I tried:). We are all still so enthralled with Lauryn. We couldn't love her more. She has been so much fun and we can't wait to see what year 2 brings!

Happy Birthday baby girl!

Happy Birthday Lauryn!! I thought about you today and wished that I hadn't forgotten about you yesterday. But, it looks like you had so much fun on your special day! 1 yr old already, you're getting SO big. And look at how much fun you get to have with your brothers. You're so lucky to have them. And don't even get me started on your mom and dad! They must love you SO much to make your day so perfect. I love all the pink things! You know, Olivia's favorite color is pink too. It must be a girl thing. :)
Happy Birthday Sweet Lauryn!!
(pretend I'm kissing your round cheeks right now.)

Oh, Lauryn. What a precious little girl. I loved your slippin' slide post when she jumped right in! What a cutie.
