We go hang out at their beautiful cabin and talk, eat, and craft for two days. It's usually a "kid-free" environment but this year I took Lauryn with me. She was really good (other than a couple of rough nights) and she loved hanging out with "the ladies". She is definitely a girly-girl thus far. It was a little different for me to take a baby along, but it was still a lot of fun. And as usual, I forgot to take any pictures. Except for this one. We caught this little squirrel catching some Zzz on the dog pillow out on the deck. All sprawled out in the sun. It was hilarious. She was having a great time and we assume it's a mother squirrel trying to get a few moments of peace away from the nest.... just like the rest of us girls up at the cabin:).
Thanks again Brianna (& Jim & Kath) - for your hospitality and for once again, planning a wonderful weekend. And thanks to Brooke, and Aubrey for taking such good care of my boys while Nate was at school. They had a blast too! You girls are life savers!

That squirrel is adorable. You are so right that she is just taking a break from the nest. So sweet. I'm glad you were able to chill with the ladies for a bit to get a nice breather.
