Yesterday was the anniversary of Addelyn's second Birthday. I had hoped that the day would be a lot easier than last year... but it wasn't. I was so grateful to have Lauryn with me this year to help keep a smile on my face... but it was still a really, really hard day. But I guess on the bright side... we are one year closer to seeing Addy again.

I really like that quote by Wickman. I never caught that before. I also like the way Elder Wirthlin puts it with the principle of compensation. "The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."
