1. Where did you meet?
Nate and I were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. She worked with me at JCPenney, and she was Nate's ex-girlfriend (yeah... it was a little weird). We both went on the date a little hesitantly. It was pretty awkward. So, needless to say, I was shocked when Nate called me the next week to ask me out again (I wondered if he remembered our first date). So I agreed to go (considering the fact that he was cute and nice). The second date obviously went better and the rest is history.
2. How long did you date before you got married?
We dated for 3 1/2 months and then got engaged and were married 3 1/2 months after that.
(Yes Nate looks like he's 12)
3. How long have you been married?
7 years.
4. What is your favorite feature of his?
I would have to say his eyes since this blog is G rated. (Just kidding)
5. What is your favorite quality of his?
I joke with Nate all the time that if I died, he would be happily re-married within 6 months after my death. And the reason I say that is because he can get along with ANYONE! He is so accepting and easy going, that he could be happily married to pretty much any woman out there (within reason). I just happened to be the lucky one to find him before other women got the chance.
6. Does he have a nickname for you?
Not really. If he calls me something like "love muffin" he is just goofing around. I kind of wish he had a cute little nickname for me.
7. What is his favorite color?
BYU BLUE!
8. What is his favorite food?
I think he has a new favorite which is fish tacos (sword fish especially). And he loves cheesecake and Reeses peanut butter cups.
9. What is his favorite sport?
To watch - college football. To play - basketball.
10. When and where was your first kiss?
In my parents living room. We had been out like 15 times and I finally laid one on him because I was so sick of waiting (that's right, I bet you didn't think I had it in me).
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Play and laugh with, and at, our boys.
12. Do you have any children?
Two entertaining boys!
13. Does he have a hidden talent?
Well Nate is super smart. It's not really hidden, but he is VERY intelligent. Probably more than he puts off. For example, he just took the GMAT to start applying for his Masters Degree. He studied for like 8 hours just before the test, and scored in the 98th percentile. It just amazes me because I am a TERRIBLE test taker and I am so jealous that he doesn't even have to try, and he kicks butt. But I am very proud of him.
14. How old is he?
28 and 11/12ths
15. Who said "I love you" first?
He did. He was tickling my back and he wrote, "I love you" on my back.
16. What is his favorite type of music?
Let me just say he HATES country music, and he likes pretty much anything else.
17. What do you admire the most about him?
I admire how hard he works for our family. He is a wonderful provider and he works so hard so that I can stay at home with our boys. He is 100% reliable as an employee and he is so dedicated to being a fantastic worker so he can always be progressing leaps and bounds up the corporate ladder. He is very ambitious in life and we are so fortunate to have such a great daddy. He believes he can achieve whatever he sets his mind to. He honors his Priesthood and takes his calling as the Patriarch of our family so seriously and would do anything to make sure we are taken care of. I also love what a great Dad he is to our kids. They love playing with him so much. And Nate LOVES being a father.
Thanks for being such a wonderful person Nate! I love you!

Cute post! I like hearing about your dating time/married time. I left JCPenney too early and missed all the details!!! I think you guys are great together and I think he is lucky to have you!
Your wedding pics are soooo beautiful! That's the first I've seen any of them... you need to hang some up in your house.
My favorite part about your Nate is that he lets me text you on his phone... isn't that so thoughtful of my needs.
Good tribute to Nate. Every time I see your wedding photos I wonder if it was hard convincing both of your parents to sign the permission slips. ;)
Thanks for the cute tag! It's fun to think back on the days that started it all. You guys are so cute and I can't believe how much Nate has changed! I didn't even recognize him...I was thinking...why is she posting pics of some other guy! lol You look great then and now!
