It snowed a ton today so we went to my Parent's house to help my Dad with shoveling his snow. And when we got there, my Dad was out in the driveway with the snow blower. My boys hadn't ever seen a snow blower before so they watched Nate as he started snow blowing the driveway. They were fascinated and just watched in awe for several minutes. When the cold started to set in, I took the boys inside to see Grandma. When we got inside, we found Grandma and wished her a Happy Valentine's Day. Grandma asked Spencer where his Daddy was and Spencer promptly responded, "He's outside mowing the laundry." Apparently, Spencer assumed that the snow blower was the equivalent of a "winter lawn mower," which I guess it really is. And the term "laundry" is similar to "lawn" and to a little boy, chores are chores. Mowing the lawn, doing the laundry.... it's all the same.
So I hope we all got a chance to get our laundry mowed this week. It's one of those chores that is a pain to do, but just needs to be done!

That is funny! thanks for the laugh Spencer. By the way, when I got off of the phone tonight, I told Owen about Prestons nose. He said, "Mom, I want to go to Preston's and check his nose, just for a minute. can we go now?" He is very concerned. :)
Your kids are so funny!
