First we had lunch at Pizza Planet.
Then we played some games. First Buzz sent us on a scavenger hunt to find our lasers before Zurg got to them first. Fortunately...we found them just in the nick of time.
Then we played "Pin the Badge on Buzz".
And then of course we had a pinata (Buzz's spaceship).
Then it was time to open gifts and refuel our energy with cake and ice cream.
I turned the playhouse downstairs into a "spaceship" and galaxy. I had painted a bunch of planets with glow in the dark paint and we had glowing stars hanging from the ceiling. Then we put a black light inside so all the kids could see their clothes and lasers glow. It turned out pretty cool.
Then today on Preston's actual birthday, he chose strawberry filled crepes and sausage for breakfast.
And he requested "Meat, potatoes without gravy, salad with ranch, and broccoli" for his birthday dinner. (We need to work on his "camera smile:)"
Then his grandparents and some family came over for cake and ice cream.
I think he had a great time. It was a fun weekend. Preston has been asking for a long time when it's going to be his turn to go to Kindergarten and I have been telling him when he turns 5. So now he thinks he'll be getting on the bus with Spencer Monday morning to go to school. I probably should have thought that one through a little better....
Preston is an awesome kid. He is a great helper with Lauryn and he loves to play with his big brother Spencer. He is loving and sweet and he's definitely the life of our party. We love him so much and we hope he had a great Birthday!

That is so crazy-fun! I can't believe all your cool ideas. I don't know how you put it all together. Love the black light galaxy in the basement. You guys should leave that up year round.
Can you tell in that picture of Marlee with the pinata that the pinata just hit her in the face? LOL... I saw her rubbing her face right after it happened, but didn't wanna draw attention and see her start the water works.
It was a great party, and you of course did an exceptional job!
Still can't believe our water aerobic babies are 5!
Awesome party Beth. If my boys saw this post that is what they would be asking for for their birthday!
