Making Memories

Today was such a nice day outside that we decided it was time to get the shark tent out. And as long as the shark tent was up, why not eat lunch inside it? So that's exactly what the boys did.

Cheese sandwiches never tasted SO good! I am sure there will be plenty more fun to be had in the shark tent and I hope these times will make fun memories for the boys.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few days ago we poured some cement and we wanted the boys to make their hand prints in the concrete. I was so excited for the boys to do this because I feel like it puts our family's "print" on this house. It's officially our house now. I remember making my hand print in cement when I was little and I would always go put my hand back in the print and see how much bigger I was growing. And now I have these two little memories of the boys at this age.

That is so fun! The hand prints turned out so artistic and cool. Those hands are going to grow tons too. It'll be fun to have that physical proof of how small they once were. I love the shark tent. Why is it that an ordinary lunch can become extrordinary with a cool tent in the yard? You're kids probably think you are magic!
