Play Ball!

Spencer had his first Tee Ball game on Saturday. Nate and I have been SO excited for the season to start. It's the day every parent looks forward to when they find out they are going to have a son.

Spencer did pretty well for his first real baseball game. We have played catch and sort of tried to teach him the gist of baseball but it's a lot different to actually play a game against other kids.

Spencer's team name is the A's (just happens to be Nate's favorite Pro-Baseball team). And Nate is the assistant coach (Nate has dreamed of this position since he was a little boy). Spencer requested to be #5 because he says the 5 looks like an "S" for Spencer! How brilliant is my little boy!

Preston thinks that he too is on the team. He INSISTED he wear one of the team shirts and hats. AND he wanted to make a few practice swings. We let him believe as much as we can that he is in fact a team member (it's so hard being the little brother).

We had so much fun at the first game and we are looking forward to the rest of the season.

And that's the game folks!

Cute Beth! Is he left handed?? Where did you find the little mitt? Bennett is a lefty :)

Marlee is a lefty too. Great now they really can't get married because their kids would be doomed to being leftys in a right hand world.
