For the last few years we have gone to "Baby Animal Day" over Easter weekend. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's held up near Logan and it's kind of like a carnival that just happens to have a billion baby animals. They have baby ducks, chickens, geese, cows, goats, horses, rabbits, sheep, pigs, snakes, lizards, turtles, and frogs. And they let you hold just about anything you want to. My boys LOVE it! Spencer asks all year long, "When we are going to the farm to pet the baby animals?" And it's a fun way to kick off Easter weekend.
This year was a lot colder than other years but it was still totally worth it.(It will be going on through Saturday if you want to check it out.)
I was IN LOVE with this baby goat! I seriously would have taken him home if it wasn't against our neighborhood ordinance to own goats.
Yes... a snake...
Spencer LOVES snakes! He is crazy about them. His favorite toy to sleep with is his little green plastic snake. The snakes were definitely Spencer's favorite part of the day. And it's hard to beat a pony ride so that is really saying something!

As we were leaving, Spencer saw this wooden cutout of a cow so he posed himself for a picture. He thought it was one of those paintings where you just stick your head through the hole and you look funny. Well this cutout is actually for a bean bag toss, but Spencer sure looks cute anyway!

Every year that I hear you talk about it I want to go. But, then I forget about it when it rolls around again. It looks SO fun!! I would have wanted to take that goat home too. Maybe he would make a good friend for Maggie. Do you think the neighbors would mind?
You really want a goat? You always were an animal lover. Do you still have your dog? I'm glad your boys had fun. We need to go up there again. Next year I guess. Have a great Easter.
Even though it was cold, you should be glad you went on Thursday. Friday was nice weather and the crowds were insane.
That does look way fun. I'm assuming it's over now & we missed out again :( I can't believe you have two boys and haven't had to go to the ER yet!

How do you hear about these fun things? I am so lame. It looks like a lot of fun. I love the pic of you and the goat. Snakes creep me out but I'm glad Spencer isn't afraid of them.
