I Heart America!

We had a fun 4th of July. Last week my Dad was in the West Bountiful Parade and he asked some of his Grand-kids to be in the parade too. So Spencer, Preston and some of my nieces rode on the float with him.

Here is Madison, Regann, My Dad, Spencer, Preston, and Aubrey

They had fun throwing candy to all the parade-goers with Papa. But most of all, they loved eating the candy. Then that night we went to West Bountiful's fireworks. They were short, but good.

Then today we went to the Centerville parade.

It's always a fun parade. LOTS and LOTS of candy. The boys even scored key chains, popsicles, and frisbees.

Then to finish off the day, we are going to fireworks again. I have decided that one of my favorite things to do as a mom, is snuggle up with my boys in a blanket and watch fireworks. It is so fun to see the excitement in their eyes and hear them say which ones are their favorite. They yell out all the colors and the shapes. I can't get enough of it. The fireworks always end too soon for me. Happy 4th of July!

How fun for them to be in the parade with your dad! I also love watching fireworks with my boy, I'm sure it will only get better with kids.

I LOVED the parade. How fun that your kids could be in the WB Parade with Papa! That's the best. I'm so glad you guys get into the holidays. That is so fun for the kidos.
