We walked with Dinosaurs...

Spencer saw a commercial on TV back in October for this "Walking with Dinosaurs" show. He sat and watched the commercial (thanks to our DVR) over and over again for literally 3 hours until I finally pryed the remote out of his little hand when it was dinner time. I promised him that if we could turn the TV off, we could go see the dinosaur show. And after waiting 4 long months (he thought I was a big liar), the day finally arrived.

Here we are during intermission with the popcorn we bought to keep Preston in his seat (notice Spencer wouldn't stop looking at the stage even during intermission just in case the dinosaurs happened to wander back out).

WARNING: This video clip is rated "S-D" for Scary Dinosaurs (not suitable for viewers with a heart condition).

It really was an amazing show. Spencer was the perfect age. If he had been any older, I don't think he would have thought it was as cool. Preston was a little young, but he still enjoyed it for the most part.

We had a really fun time. This is the first time we have paid to take our kids to something like this. It was a little painful spending the money, but it did make Spencer's year. And nothing makes you a better parent than spending $4.50 on a small tub of popcorn to please your 2 year old:)

I love the picture of Spencer with his eyes glued to the stage... his wife someday is going to "love" when he's watching football and nothing else in the world exists. He's such a little man already!

Since we don't have DVR anymore, Owen didn't ask too much about when we were going to see the Dinosaurs. But now that we have gone and he knows that I have video posted to my blog, he asks ALL of the time to see the dinosaurs again. Too funny!
